Good Reading This Week

“The Terrors and Occasional Virtues of Not Knowing What You Are Doing,” by Jad Abumrad. Radiolab is the best, it keeps me company in my farmhouse on long summer nights. Abumrad recently won a MacArthur Genius grant, and hey,┬ájust their opening sequence is good radio enough to take my breath away sometimes.

“We Are Alive,” by David Remnick– editor-in-chief of the New Yorker profiles the Boss, and it’s disillusioning and charismatic all at the same time. This tour really is like that, though.
